Only when I saw some of TII did I really get shocked watching 'Michael'. If that was Michael in TII then he really was on 'something' with all the penguin flipping etc. Michael was a GRACEFUL dancer and what we saw was someone with jerky eratic movements that seemed to make a bit of a mockery of Michael.
Im sorry but that was my absolute gut feeling and I remember expressing the shock at the time and almost disbelief that it was Michael.
So all I can say is that if it was him then he was really out of touch with himself. It was not his type of movement that came across, something felt very off about it. Kenny seemed to look pretty much pensive at the movements as well if you remember almost like he was either worrying what 'Michael ' was doing or whether he was nurturing 'Michael' or seemingly patronising him that the dance moves were ok.
Well they were not ok - and if that was Michael up 'high' on something it is a bit terrible for them to film him in that way as it has no basis on the 'wonderful, great, marvelous' remarks that have been said about his dancing in this film.
Thats my opinion and I still today do not feel that was 'Michael' as he was always known.
It just did not work for me.
