Michael Jackson was the "easiest person to write" songs with according to Barry Gibb.

The legendary 'This is it' singer – who passed away from acute Propofol intoxication in June 2009 –worked with the Bee Gees star on track called 'All in Your Name' in 2002. While it was never released, Barry has posted a clip of them recording it and his memories of their time together online.

The 30 second clip sees Barry and Michael in a vocal booth laying down vocals over lush orchestral instrumentation.

Barry wrote of his friend: "Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that’s simply what it was.

"We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with."

He also wrote how he felt the song was a message by Michael to his fans all over the world.

He added: "'All in Your Name' is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the World that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever."

Barry is currently writing songs for a new release, although at this time it has not been confirmed if this will feature 'All in Your Name', with Michael.

That clip of the song reminds me of Leo Sayers ' when I need you'. I love what I have seen on the clip with Michael and Barry its going to be a great track and I look forward to the whole song and the lyric.

So Barry has had this 'clip' since 2002? I wonder why it was never released -

    this quote does,nt make sense.

He added: "'All in Your Name' is in fact the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the World that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever."

Kinda looks the same there ole Barry don't he? Not much different 2002 and 2010. that's a hell of a long time in between, I'm not saying that to be mean either, I'm getting "older" myself, but once you start that process, well you don't stay the same for let's say nine years ;)

Here is a video of the adorable Barry in 2001. I thought it would be interesting to see what he looked like then as compared with in 2002.

Hard to tell with the glasses on ,but I'd say he looks younger in that video.. which is cute as heck!!!

Edit to say..i admire BG for just being him, we age that's just how it goes, but it don't mean it's the end of it!
